Hydro & Marine Redbird Construction - Part 7
Photos and text by Miha Holc
Velcro position in the boat:
Below the right velcro there is some foam so the cells are above the aluminium drive tube to prevent it from damage when cells are bouncing.

Finished boat.
For competition I have yet to install emergency switch and holders for starting number plate.

Props:
From left to right: Modified Garupner K29 (28 mm diameter), normal K29, modified Octura X427 and normal X427.
Modified K29 worked for me as it has less pitch than X427. Just sharpen the leading edge and after some x acto action . Since the load on the prop is small there shouldn't be much difference between metal and carbon reinforced plastic prop not to mention that plastic costs less.

Small birdy waiting on the pit suitcase on our first cup race. It was freezing cold!
