Notes
I though if you could publish some pics and specs of my smallest
R/C boat - Kiwi Pico ? So far, I haven't seen or received pics that
could prove that someone has made smaller R/C (rooster kickin')
outrigger!
Boat: Kiwi Pico outrigger by M&J Racing Team Hull Length: 24 cm
Width: 18 cm Motor: Speed 280 ESC: Schulze slim 08e Servo: Pico
BB Cells: 6 x Sanyo 270 mAh Prop: Dumas 1.25x1.25 inch Hardware:
Piano wire 0.5 mm, own scratch build Weight: Around 200 g - depends
on how much I tape down the hatch =) Speed: around 10 mph The wire
is 0,5 mm diameter running in a tube which was primary intended
for airplane pushrod. On both sides there are 2 mm brass tubes which
are soldered on the steel wire. Since it is almost impossible to
make 0,5 mm straight hole, there is a very thin wire wrapped around
the to fill the space between 2 mm tube and flex shaft. The drive
ends with driled M4 screw to fit the 2 mm brass tube. Yes, it sounds
like own clock making ;-) |
