Dear Trent,
Your site is very informative, always an appetite bit for
new projects. After building a few micro boats with GRP hulls,
I chosed ply for the next ones. All three boats have
been built by plan, available from Traplet Publications GB. All
outside panels are 0.6mm ply with some balsa stringers inside.
Foam fillers are used instead of foam base to work with fast cyano
. The fact that those boats are running as fast or even faster than
GRP hull boats was impressing.
