Hi Trent ! I would like to inform you about my latest
project ! What you see is my little "cat", that was airbrushed
last week, in order to see where i have do do some extra sanding
and "finishing". Over 2001 i‚ve built 9 different hulls to get
a fast and stable Prototype ... i‚ll build a "form" out of it,
to mould the first boats in early 2002. As teperatures are descending
over here (it even snowed yesterday), this seems to be a quite
good winter-work to do. 8-) The hull is 42cm long, 17cm wide and
6,5 cm high. The sponsons got two steps, an angle of nearly 3ç
and are 3,5cm wide. Perhaps you want to post this on Microhydros.com.
Greetings, Jan-Nicolas
<<< UPDATE >>>
Hi Trent!
It took me some time to get things started ... and after having
built 3 (scrap) moulds, here is, what came out of number 4 ! Hope
you like it !? The dimensions of the cat are still the same -
i only made some "round" parts, to have an easier release of the
boat, when tearing it out of the mould. The boat is equipped with
a Viper25-12 and a Smile 40-6-12 from Kontronik. Had a test-run
this morning on really choppy water ... the thing flies. Fully
equipped RTR weight is under 800gramms. Hope this is still something
"micro" !? ;-) Today, i will go on with the hatch-cover ... this
will take some days. ... more to come
Greetings from Germany,
Jan-Nicolas
