 Special Notes
This old fashioned roundnose hydro is built only from balsa and CA glue. It is an self construction. The basic hull was complete in two days becouse it is very simple construction. It was painted only with nitro paint. First it was powered with SPEED400 6V and Graupner 31K prop. The speed was very impresive and boat get up quickly (1,5m). Next I tried with LRP 400S (that motor spins 35.000 rpm at 8,4V, it has big colector-500 and is 50g havier). With 31K prop cut down to 26mm boat fly very quick (like brushed power hydro1). Drive time with 8*Sanyo Gold was 8 min. Drive shaft is flex but the angle is 7 degrees which lift the transom and push nose down. Thanks to Miha Holc for photos and movie.

**UPDATE - Now I can tell speed for my roundnose- it is called 50+km/h. We check it on straight line(100m). That speed was reached with LRP Super400S motor, 8xGold Sanyo and Octura X427. Racing time was 7,5 min. Next time I will powerd it with 12 cells (Gold or 500AR). Calculated speed will be around 74km/h.

**UPDATE 9/10/2002 - Hello Trent! Here is plan for roundnose. I draw it in paint brush. Better than nothing. I tried my boat on 12 cells (500AR). It did not run well because prop had to much lift (37000rpm) and CG was to close to sponson. It goes a little faster but it was bouncing toooooo much. PS: If anybody will build that boat, try flood chamber in right sponson.
