I thought I'd send a few pics of my latest project. Was wondering if you can put them on your site.
- specs -
Hull:(scratch/plan) basic dimensions from 'yellow jacket rigger' featured in boat modler. Sponson angles and nose of tub are my own.
Motor: Phantom 11x1
Speedo: Novak duster
Radio: Futaba wheel
Servo: KO micro
Cells: Sanyo matched 1700scrc x7
Hardware: rudder and bracket - my own,
Prop: Octura x432
Length: 24"
Width: 14"

The tub is made from balsa (2mm sides, 6mm transom) and sponsons are balsa frames with 0.8mm ply skins. Sealed outside and partially sealed inside. At the moment it has trouble staying on the plane in corners and getting on the plane. But one its there it does approx 36mph. Hopefully with some tuning and strut and prop adjustment i will get 40mph.
